Supporting Struggling Readers in the Classroom - Frequently Asked Questions

Your questions answered

Do I have to start my course on the start date?

No. Once enrolled, you’ll receive access to the learning platform and can familiarise yourself through the orientation. Once the start date lapses you will gain access to two lessons a week, for six weeks. You’ll then get an extra 2 weeks at the end to complete your final exam. You can study at your own pace; however we do recommend that you complete each lesson within two weeks of its release so that you manage to complete the course within the 8 week access period.

How long will it take to process my enrolment after I’ve enrolled?

There are no processing times, so you can access your learning platform immediately! If your course has not started yet, you can go through the orientation and familiarise yourself with the learning platform. Your enrolment confirmation email will provide all of these details.

What kind of assignments will I have to complete?

You will complete multiple choice quizzes, short answer questions and summary exams/test(s) which will confirm your understanding of the subject.

What do others think?

‘I have taken several on-line classes now, and this by far was the absolute best! As a matter of fact, this on-line class was better than many graduate level classes I have taken. The expertise and knowledge base of this professor was exceptional. His ability to teach the content was superior. In addition, the instructor made this course highly relevant, extremely interesting, and most interactive. I was quite impressed with how quickly he responded to questions, comments, etc. (even after the loss of his dear father). I firmly believe that I will be a better educator because of this course! I am equipped with numerous strategies and techniques to add to my repertoire, but above all else, I am truly inspired!’
