This was a great course and the instructor was very helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend it to anyone who desires to extend their web design capabilities.

This class was presented in an easy-to-understand format. It had helpful information on how to add HTML5 native video and for using jQuery. Adding slideshow and video to websites was easy to understand. I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to make their website more inviting and with a mobile site.

I love this class. The class was much more interactive than I had thought it would be. I learned not only from my own questions, but also from reading about problems other students had and from the replies by both students and teacher. Content and instructions were well-written and easy to follow. Everything I needed to know for the class was explained in the chapters. The suggested resource books were helpful. I truly enjoyed learning more about HTML5 and CSS3. This is the first course that I was somehow convinced by the instructor to put my coursework live online. Because of that, I felt a great sense of accomplishment when I accessed my jQuery mobile-based site on my iPod Touch.

I am really glad I took the course because it was what I needed to motivate me to redo the website I "inherited" (even though I still have a lot of work to do on it). The course has made me feel that even though I am an amateur at this, I can have a website that is both functional with all the modern technology and still pleasing to the viewer.

David was extremely knowledgeable on the subject matter, and the class was a perfect fit for my needs.

Excellent course! Other courses I have taken were informative and helpful. This course was an order of magnitude better, in that it was more engaging and represented a far more sophisticated and savvy approach to the material. I will be looking into David Karlins' books and hope to see other courses by him in the future.

David Karlins is a very good instructor. This course helped reinforce what I had learned previously. This has encouraged me to learn scripting. The instructor encourages creativity and made the assignments enjoyable. This has brought out areas of web design that I like most. I would highly recommend this course and instructor.

This course was excellent. I loved how it built up to jQuery Mobile in Lesson 11, and then followed with ThemeRoller. It fits perfectly as a way of moving anyone with prior experience into contemporary mobile capability. I could not have been happier with this course. I have taken a number of other courses prior to this one, and this was a nice capstone to the others.
